In the booklet “Ilm aur Ulema Karaam ki Azmat”, Hazrat Mawlana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Sahib (DB) explains the level of respect required from the student to acquire knowledge of Deen (religion). He also explains the level of respect that is required  for the scholars of Deen. Both have been elaborated upon in this booklet in light of the Qur’an and Hadith.

Nowadays, most people — including those that have a religious mindset — are inflicted with the detrimental disease of making foolish and absurd types of comments regarding the Ulema (Scholars of Deen). The underlying reason for this type of behavior that occurs is due to the lack of knowledge that people possess regarding the level of Ulema(Scholars of Deen) in Islam. Insha Allah, this booklet will be an eye opener for the people who are inflicted by this particular disease.

This booklet may also prove to be beneficial for those who are carrying out the work of Deen without taking into consideration the boundaries and laws of the Shari’ah and neglecting them overall.
